DVD Review: Wolverine and the X-Men: Deadly Enemies: Artist Not Provided: Movies & TV
Product Description
The battles against formidable opponents have begun for Wolverine and the X-Men in Volume Two, as they continue their fight to prevent an unspeakable future. The X-Men fight to save Storm’s life after the parasitic Shadow King infiltrates her mind. And Wolverine teams up with Gambit to “steal back” the X-Men’s collar that inhibits mutant powers, before Senator Kelly can use it against them. On the high seas, Nightcrawler battles devious pirates who kidnap innocent mutants for the evil Mojo. In order to protect his friends, Wolverine must face off against the Incredible Hulk, but he soon discovers there is a new enemy lurking in the darkness. And in a shocking request from Professor Xavier in the future, Wolverine and the X-Men must return a young mutant back to their biggest adversary, the MRD. Join the crusade with Wolverine and the X-Men in these action-packed adventures.
Don’t buy this!!!!!!!,
By L. Ackerman “Weapon X” -
The only reason this is being released is because YOU bought the first volume. Don’t buy this!!!!!! Do you realize the whole first season has 26 episodes? That means at this rate, you’ll have to purchase a total of around 8 volumes for the whole first season. That means you’ll be paying over $80 for the whole season. This is ridiculous! Yes, this is a wonderful show, but is buying these 3-4 episode volumes worth being ripped off? No! Btw, you can watch these episodes online, just go to the nick toons website. So don’t buy these. Wait and sooner or later marvel and nick toons will get the hint and release the whole season at once (what they should have done to begin with).
Great show, but corp. GREED makes this a bad deal,
By Aaron Calilan “miseenplas” (SF, USA) -
I agree with the comments on NOT BUYING THIS DVD. It’s a great series, but releasing only 4 episodes at a time is just corp. America taking us for a ride. When you can get complete seasons of great animated series (like Justice League Unlimited) for under $24, you gotta think… “only 4 episodes, WTF???”
Don’t get caught up in this marketing hype, wait until they get it right and release the season set.
Show is excellent! But need to release a whole season!,
By Isiah Xavier Bradley (PA, USA) -
This show is a five star hands down, but the releases are poor and not worth your buck. In this purchase, there’s only five episodes and commentary. Just wait for the whole season, maybe they’ll get the message by not buying this.
