Hold On To Your Dippies,
By Reconnecting To My Childhood “Time Won’t Let … -
This DVD-R Made On Demand Amazon set ’should’ include the following 26 whole episodes from 1992-1993:
14 Toy Palace / Sand Ho
15 Chuckie Vs. The Potty / Together At Last
16 The Big House / The Shot
17 Showdown At Teeter-Totter Gulch / Mirrorland
18 Angelica’s In Love / Ice Cream Mountain
19 Regarding Stuie / Garage Sale
20 Let There Be Light / The Bank Trick
21 Family Reunion / Grandpa’s Date
22 No Bones About It / Beach Blanket Babies
23 Reptar On Ice / Family Feud
24 Superhero Chuckie / The Dog Broomer
25 Aunt Miriam / The Inside Story
26 A Visit From Lipschitz / What The Big People Do
27 The Santa Experience
28 Visitors From Outer Space / The Case Of The Missing Rugrat
29 Chuckie Loses His Glasses / Chuckie Gets Skunked
30 Rebel Without A Teddy Bear / Angelica The Magnificent
31 Meet The Carmichaels / The Box
32 Down The Drain / Let Them Eat Cake
33 The Seven Voyages Of Cynthia / My Friend Barney
34 Feeding Hubert / Spike The Wonder Dog
35 The Slide / The Big Flush
36 King Ten Pin / Runaway Angelica
37 Game Show Didi / Toys In The Attic
38 Driving Miss Angelica / Susie Vs. Angelica
39 Tooth Or Dare / Party Animals
I say all the above episodes ’should’ be included because I don’t yet know if they are counting each half episode as a whole or if they in fact mean the 26 whole episodes. The product description does mention Tommy going to the bad side (for a little while) which seems to be ‘Rebel Without A Teddy Bear’ implying that all twenty six whole episodes will be included. Though I can’t be sure I’m happy to own any of these episodes.
I give five stars merely for the chance to own these episodes, though I do not yet know what quality they will be presented in. Children’s television was so much better in the nineties, thanks for your time.
*For those interested I have included summaries for all the 26 possible episodes that could be included in this set in my comments section to avoid cluttering up the review page.
Rugrats Fans Rejoice!!,
By Klayton Swenson -
I’ve been a closet Rugrats fan for some time now and I’m so glad that Nickelodeon is finally giving this show the respect it deserves and putting it out onto DVD! Under normal circumstances I’d probably only rate it with four stars if it’s being burnt onto discs that may only work on regular DVD players, but I’ve been waiting for these episodes to be released for so long now that I don’t even care.
Season 2 of this awesome show is in my opinion probably the best batch of Rugrats episodes ever made. I will thoroughly enjoy watching all of them, but Chuckie vs The Potty, The Shot, and Susie vs Angelica will be what I watch first.
Not only are these episodes entertaining and funny, but they make nice lessons for both kids and adults. I highly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys watching cartoons!
