From the Back Cover
Dr. Andrew “Andy” Brown (Treat Williams - “Hair,” “Prince of the City”) led a comfortable existence in New York City with his family and a lucrative practice as a world-renowned neurosurgeon - until fate took his loving spouse from him and changed his life forever. After his wife’s death, Dr. Brown moved his young daughter and wayward teenage son to a small, out-of-the-way burg nestled deep in the Colorado mountains. It’s where old-fashioned healing counts more than surgical statistics…where folks are just as quirky as they please…where a grieving heart can breathe free and mend itself. And it’s the place where Dr. Brown can become the kind of doctor - and father - his wife would have wanted him to be. It all happens in a town called Everwood.
Allow me to add my voice to the mounting chorus…,

…demanding the release of the remaining seasons of “Everwood.” It is indeed trite to declare profound affection for a television show, but the fact that Everwood elicits such passion from its viewers serves as testament to the quality of the writing, acting, and direction. I have watched many television dramas over the years, and I can honestly say that I have never–never–seen one that captured the human condition so authentically. As other reviewers have rightly claimed, Everwood never pandered, never condescended, never simplified, and never compromised merely to reach the lowest common denominator in viewership. Ultimately, I suspect this accounts for its untimely cancellation; it was simply too genuine and too smart for an American audience.
Those of us who realized what we had, however, deserve the opportunity to preserve this timeless jewel for ourselves. I encourage others to fill this review board, contact Warner Brothers and/or ABC Family, and ratchet up the pressure to deliver the remainder of this series on DVD.
Why isn’t this out yet??,

Everwood was and is one of the best tv shows to ever grace our television screens. I have purchased Season 1 probably over a yr. ago and am still anxiously awaiting Season 2. It seems like forever that I have been waiting and can’t understand what the hold up is. Please release the 2nd Season so more people like myself can enjoy a quality show over and over again. This show is definitely worth a 2nd season release - give us what we deserve and the credit that this show deserves!!
We want EVERWOOD,

It seems this is the only TV show you can not get the full series on DVD. What is up with that???? It is not like there is not an outcry for it’s release. Then ABC Family puts it on TV and go and upgrade my calble only to find I am too late and it is off the air agian — not even put on at a different time. This show touch my heart in so many ways — it was as if I was a part of their family.
I also want the complete series! I don’t need to watch TV to see other shows that are on that I enjoyed watching because I was able to buy the DVD series and I really don’t care if they are on TV. But EVERWOOD deserves to be released.
