King Crimson is and will always be a band stage in the first place. I saw them about 30 years ago and was amazed the first time every time I saw them play. The power & Robert Fripp; La Cie . La ’s music is when they play live. Their studio albums are great, but seeing them live and watch them practice their art are what really draw you into their music. Once you see execute phase, you will remember forever in your mind the nuances that you have seen while they were playing each air. This DVD is as close as you can get to a concert stage Crim without being there. The video is not a grainy, but there is usually smoke in the sky at their concerts, and what you see is quite acceptable. The sound is OK in the stereo, but 5.1 Digitals turn and prepare to be blown off! If you Crim like new, these two exhibitions will also provide you historical growth 2000 2003 with the four current members of the band. If you are a fan of ‘73 of / ‘74 Crim operate (Fripp, Wetton, Bruford, and others) you will also find much to appreciate, especially in the 2003 concert in Japan. If you are new to the band, it is a great place to see modern performances from a band that helped define rock music and metal power. Robert Fripp is a musical genious, and if you look closely, you will see that genious unveil several times. It is, in my humble opinion, one of the lines Crim strongest in the history of the band. Bruford may have been the best drummer they ever had and elegant Levin may have been the final player down, but as a group, the four now create together a wonderful machine and well-oiled as the shouldn le ‘t be missed. This is a fan essential DVD Crim and a good way for the newbie fan gets a taste of a classic, yet new and evolving musical entity known as the King Crimson.

I am an experienced guitarist of many years and recorded with professional equipment, therfore I am aware of many guitar effects and the many types of uses Crimson things. I watched this very closely several times to see what the other review related as overdubbed guitar solos of Adrian, and I am confident that I do not see any aie. what I think the critic could refer are some parts where Adrian uses a reverse effect, in which you play is held in a processor la ’s memory and overturned, then played a few miliseconds later. so you need to play a little before signing, then what the viewer hears is a few seconds behind what your hands do. it takes great skill to use this properly. this is not a tower or overdoub. it is a very common studio which is are often not used. I have seen no evidence of any use of overdubbing. all heard by my experience appeared to play at present by one of the musicians on stage. I think it ‘ is an excellent dvd for all fans and Crimson fabulous material. they are tremendously beyond most musicians in several ways, including being juvenile jurisdiction. I do not mean to contradict the other review, but I am confident what I say and I just wanted to offer my observations to others who might be discouraged because this dvd such a thing. the blessings, and enjoy =)

I saw King Crimson in Boston, March 2003, about a month before this concert was recorded in Japan. This disc absolutely caught the spirit and sound of the legendary band. The concert was recorded one of many performances that the band made in Japan. Each member was online. Endowed with Trey Gunn on touch-perch, Pat Mastelotto on drums, Adrian Belew on vocals and guitar, and last but not least the elusive veteran guitarist and founding member of King Crimson, Robert Fripp, this line did not dissapoint. Fripp opened the show with a small demonstration of his guitar playing talent. Set of various noises with his magical guitar. The short strip maneuvering playing various songs throughout their careers. They play a lot of new tracks from their latest release, The power to believe in the construction of light to their larks of the earliest days ‘languages in aspic; Part IV.If you didn ‘ t see them live the latter excursion or asylum ‘t seen them perform in a certain time or at all is a hard phase to obtain. It gives me an excellent momento of what I experienced and saw this night memorable.
