In November 1975, three days of the condor , a mysterious story of conspiracy thriller based on the novel by James entitled six Grady (Condor) was adapted to film and directed by Sydney whiting Yellow ( Sabrina (1995), company , way we were ) and a script by Lorenzo Semple Jr. ( King Kong Gordon snapshot , Sheena , etc..) and David Rayfiel was released in theaters.
The film received positive reviews by critics has been nominated for an award from the Academy for 1976 editing film , and also a winner of multiple awards.
VIDEO AND SOUND:
3 DAYS OF THE CONDOR 1975 is a film which is first described in 1080p high definition on Blue-ray. Since the film was created in 1975, the quality of the film shows some age but the transfer is actually better the image quality that about 1990 ’s films and early-2000 I have seen on high definition.
The film presents some dust but there are a number of dark scenes and some compression artifacts were detected but, for a film about 34 years, the colors were sharp, blacks were good and overall a very good transfer Film Blue-ray.
As for the sound, the film is described in English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 (and also mono french). We tell the truth, this is a channel before, dialogue driven film. If there was any use low, it ’s the old 70 ‘ model low collector who was popular then used the bass. As to the orders of action, the gunshots and everything else seems quite soft but I do m’attendais not that exciting directional audio from all channels loudspeaker with this film, so I found the sound good for a film this old.
Subtitles are described in the CSAD, the French and Spanish English and French.
SPECIAL USES:
3 DAYS OF THE CONDOR has only one special purpose and that is the bottom of the page with the original theatrical scratches and dust in abundance. The bottom of the page is in HD but it would have been nice to have someone make comment or revisit this film especially as it is appropriate in today ’s modern world
CALL FOR JUDGING:
3 DAYS OF THE CONDOR is a suspense story with great conspiracy. What is quite shocking about this film which was released in 1975 is actually how it provides the government la ’s participation in future business. I ‘t want to enter too much into the film without damaging it but I would say that what Turner can discover, it ‘ s what ’s occurring in today ‘ s modern world, particularly with the United States.
This is also a bit numbing to see is a few shots of the Twin Towers and the film with the two buildings shortly after they were built.
Robert Redford ’s performance was very good but there were some lines that have almost an echo of John Wayne of the action that was acceptable this time around but for today ‘ modern viewers s, he can not bear.
The stars that have shone in this film were Faye Dunaway, who has done a great job playing the role of Kathy strong. Because a captive hostage shot the woman who is willing to facilitate his abductor was a film that seems to use Stockholm syndrome and not surprising considering that bank robberies Hearst-SLA pie in real life occurred in 1974 or perhaps a woman who agrees to help Joe Turner part because one side of the sadness and loneliness in their lives.
Max von Sydow as qu’assassin Joubert is also quite effective in its role, especially during the big show near the end of the film.
In reviewing the evolution of Blue-ray, although some artifacts and dust are seen on the visual quality is probably the best that we will transfer the film. Audio quality is very inspiring but this is not considered modern film that we come to expect the full use of audio channels 3 DAYS OF THE CONDOR is quite clear in the dialogue and for a film in 1975, taking into account all things, a transfer is quite good on the wing of the nose HD Blue-ray.
My strength with that irritating blue-ray that the release is a film with so much relevance for today ‘the modern world of s, it was wonderful to have interviews with the stars or have some sort of included special purpose other than the bottom of the page.
The film is a well-written, well-edited and exciting suspense story with an argument that I ‘t know if the whiting Yellow Sydney or even the author James Grady novel knew it would be more appropriate than 30 years after .
Global 3 DAYS OF THE CONDOR is certainly a classic action-thriller story to the recommendation certainly interesting!

In his 1979 novel Shibumi (suspense to the story of political party, part cynical attack on Western civilization and part satire of the kind of suspense story), written at the end of the genre ’s decade probably larger Trevanian explains the six parts of the Japanese boardgame symbolizing the concept of effortless perfection and inspiring the novel ’s title: Fuseki (step opening or locations), Sabaki (an effort quickly , effectively ending a problematic situation), Seki (a neutral impasse in which neither one nor the other side do not gain an advantage), Uttegae (a potentially sacrificial strategic maneuvering), Shicho (a running offensive) and Tsuru no Sugomori (literally , emprisonnement cranes to their nest: elegant capture of the opponent of ’s stone).
Like other books published then and influenced by, shocking revelations of Watergate Shibumi asked what happens if the government is hijacked by a secret association not bound by anything but its own interest and hunger for power . One of the most important novels on which the legs Trevanian built in his book is James Grady ’s six days of condor adapted for the screen by director blue yellow Sydney in the fourth (of seven) collaboration hugely successful with Robert Redford; costarring Faye Dunaway, Max von Sydow and Cliff Robertson. But while Grady ’s novel focused on the trauma of Vietnam, the film ‘ s the scenario, not only shorten the armature critical time of six days to three, changes the era homes la ’s obsession with oil and thus effortlessly proving a key history of capabilities: Assuming a group of insiders really managed to commandeer key governmental structures, the respective substantive context would be of little import, because * any * such action would constitute a terminal violation of public trust, and the consequences for the individual caught in the web intrigue and the resulting deception would also be disastrous.
Three days of the condor begins with the murder almost entire staff of a New York office of CIA drive researchers, agents responsible for the detection of possible clues to actual or potential operations agency in literature. The massacre le ’s sole survivor is Joe Turner, known as condor (Redford), who has literally been rightly be out for lunch when the assassins shot. After his discovery of the massacre, his superiors promise to bring it at home using his inside friend Sam as of builder confidence. But at the Saturday meeting projectile is affected, too, and Turner himself only narrowly escapes - again. Recognizes that its own organization is involved way or another in the coup and is more secure in his own apartment, Turner lurks in the home of photographer Kathy strong (Dunaway), he takes hostage, but that as a loner and thereafter develops a liking for him, agreeing to help try to discover the truth behind the terrifying labyrinth of lies and double standards in which he finds himself suddenly.
While Condor ‘tale of his places clear (the interests of those responsible for the massacre) and the mass-murder and the following events are merely moves in the deadly game in which Turner is thrown against his own (and where his greatest advantage is his unpredictability), against the dominating opponent that faces alone small opportunities emerging victoriously; of, in the terminology of Shibumi confining the cranes to their nest: All he can hope for is a sustainable state of Seki; a stalemate and a cease-fire may be temporary (a conclusion later also reached in John Grisham ’s bestselling company ). T inference, of course, is that it takes more than simple individual discovery a ’s a conspiracy of government-blasting to take down the conspirators - and as in Watergate, the press is seen as a crucial vehicle to achieve assistance mass events and take criminals off the “command.
Because of the universality of its theme, the importance of condor beyond the context of 70 years of history ’s. In the end, it is appropriate now as it was then, and is thus the account of the Pulitzer-Prize-winning Woodward-Bernstein on Watergate and its corresponding movie ( all men of President ’s Redford is taking the leading role also, alongside Dustin Hoffman and Jason Robards). But it is also a beautifully filmed movie, sharply edited and using New York City ‘winter landscape s for full dramatic effect. Robert Redford gives a career-defining, executing well controlled while the dévoreur book-turn - cornered spy Joe Turner, with all items by Max von Sydow ’s assassin hired by Joubert, who has no cause of its own, finds his profession , quite reposant does not concern his mission ‘ why only when, where and how figurines and paintings of sensitive small hours of relaxation. Faye Dunaway ’s Kathy is not just another victim of Stockholm syndrome (a otage ’s identification with their captors “grounds), it really comes to understand Turner because of their similarity: His photos are expressions of her loneliness as much as Joe ‘ s lonely position against an entire government organization; beautiful but sad November pictures of empty streets, fields and park benches, the projectile in black and white and a complex and subtle metaphor even during their love scene. Cliff Robertson le man Higgins s CIA is finally the perfect foil for Turner and Joubert; not as far along in his career he should be but, although sympathetic to Turner ’s plight, fully buying into the legitimacy of the agency ‘ S games and prepare to do what it takes to keep an embarrassment from becoming remarkable.
Turner ’s and Higgins ‘ s meeting is intensely placed against a chorus of salvation army the performance of s YE gentlemen of the rest of God joyful and the choir oh new comfort and joy; end in a still shot of Turner ’s face rigid reminiscent of Kathy ‘ pictures of s. However, condor ’s history is open: Queeste it was always, it was around today?
Do what is it with you people - you think you do not get caught in a lie is the same thing as telling the truth? , Joe Turner three days of the condor.
All bodies in this book lack any basis in reality - although some of them do not realize that. , Of Trevanian Shibumi.
