Maneeshananda is an Ordained Acharya of Nithya Yoga. She has a Master of Philosophy degree in Yoga and Psychology. She teaches Patanjali’s Yoga under the guidance of Paramahamsa Nithyananda, the young, dynamic, living Enlightened Master of our times. Maneesha took her first steps into yoga at the age of 16. She learned traditional yoga with a strong therapeutic bent from the Vivekananda Kendra, in Kanyakumari, India. With the blessings of Sri T. Krishnamacharya, she had the opportunity to study Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga as well as the basics of Ayurveda under his son, T.K.V. Desikachar.
