It appears that after several decades and 63 TONY Award wins, the 2007 Broadway theater season brings the pint size but powerful guru out of self-imposed hiding to share his secret methods with the world and one lucky Broadway production (he only chooses one per season, if that). Enter Xanadu, the award-winning, Tony-nominated but unlikely Broadway hit that has the industry asking, “how did this happen” and “could it actually win Best Musical”? Against all odds the producers of Xanadu beg Cubby for his assistance. But hope seems lost until Cubby relents to see the show for himself.
